CCJ Summer 2018 Newsletter:  CCJ has been an integral part of the Ames Community since 1974. As you know The Center for Creative Justice (CCJ) is a community based, non-profit agency providing correctional supervision to adult criminal offenders placed on probation by the local judiciary. We supervise about 75% of the community members placed on probation in Story County.

CCJ Fall 2015 Newsletter:  Did you know the latest stats show that 93% of CCJ’s clients did not re-offend?  CCJ had the highest non-recidivism rate in its history.

CCJ Spring 2015 Newsletter: We at CCJ remain thankful for many things:

The support we receive from our community.
The confidence of our court system to be assigned 78% of the caseload in 2014.
The financial support we receive from our donors and the local funding received from ASSET.
The excellent collaboration we have with other area human service agencies and local law enforcement.
The success rates of our clients — last year 85% of our clients successfully completed their probation, and of those that complete.

CCJ Spring 2014 Newsletter:  In this issue of our newsletter, we feature two individuals with ties to CCJ who have received awards for outstanding public service, both in their professional and their personal lives – Doug Jones and Rollie Link. Please join me in congratulating both of them.

CCJ Fall 2013 Newsletter:  For over 39 years, CCJ has been in the business of changing lives by promoting personal change and accountability for one’s actions. During that time, we have grown and reinvented ourselves in response to the changing needs of the community. One thing that has never changed, however, is our dedication to the rehabilitation of our clients and to increasing public safety. Probation accomplishes both of those goals.
