Volunteer Probation Officer

Volunteer Probation Officers provide a valuable service to our agency and the community. Probation helps rehabilitate the offender while helping to keep the community safe from further offenses. VPO's directly supervise clients and help them identify and work on needed areas of change. Clients are held accountable for their actions and are required to complete their court ordered requirements.

Volunteer Probation Officers function under the same expectations as paid staff in terms of work attendance, dependability, adherence to established work procedures, and compliance with professional standards of conduct.

The Volunteer Probation Officer position requires a minimum commitment of one year.
