DIRECTOR'S MESSAGE
An agency's mission statement defines and communicates the agency's reason for existence. The mission statemanet embodies the agency's philosophies, goals, and ambitions. Values and beliefs are the priciples that guide our daily decisions and actions.
CCJ's Board of Directors recently approved an updated version of our mission statement, values, and beliefs. I will let the message speak for itself:
Mission Statement
"Our mission is to rehabilitate offenders, reduce victimization, increase public safety, and contribute to improving our communities"
Values and Beliefs
- We believe all people are capable of change
- We support clients in their efforts to change
- We treat all people with dignity and respect
- We believe clients must accept responsibility for their choices and be held accountable for their actions
- We acknowledge and support victims
- We will work together in community partnerships to increase our client's success
