Rollie Link - Probation Supervisor

Rollie Link has been a Probation Officer for the Center for Creative Justice since April of 2009. Before becoming a Probation Officer, Rollie served the city of Ames as a Police Officer for twenty-nine years, and retired in August of 2006. As a Police Officer for the City of Ames, Rollie worked as a patrol officer, a patrol Corporal, Corporal of the Special Operations Unit, and Patrol Lieutenant. Rollie also served as the outreach coordinator to the Latino Community and as a Spanish interpreter for the department. Rollie was a charter member of the Iowa state Law Enforcement Torch Run committee for Special Olympics. Rollie served in the U.S. Navy from 1970 to 1974. He graduated from Florida Jr. College in Jacksonville, Florida in 1977, and From Iowa State University in 1981 with a BA degree in English.
